This post came at the time we are approaching a truly gratitude moment to spend our quality with our loves one. Yes is another year for thanksgiving. The strange part would be we only realized when we come to the point slowing down a bit just to remind us is thanksgiving. What more importantly why can't we have "regular" routine of being and feeling gratitude daily instead an annual Thanksgiving Day?
So what do I mean by "regular" routine stuffs? For a lay man term, I ask, do you do it daily?
Now with that question you'll start to experience a moment of silence forever in your heart. Yes, that's the reality! People want to feel change and transform and be able experiencing phenomenal moment, but very few realized that, it takes bit-by-bit that you and I do daily to make it happened. So what do I called it? In a simple word, COMMIT.
It is one of the word that terryfing most people, both men or women in life, whether dealing with relationships, career, financial, health and spiritual. On the other angle, I look at it that would give you "strength" or "drive" or some say "power" to be able to see things happened. By means if we don't commit the things that we do to achieve whatever we have plan, change and transformation will not happened. As the matter, it will be the same old thing or back to square-one.
Now what it takes to commit? Great question, right? Since is a Thanksgiving day, how committed are you in being and feeling appreciate what you had in your life right now?I do as the matter of fact since a series of incidents happened few years ago from the moment of I hit into rock-bottom of my life, it makes me more commit than ever before. Sadly to know many that I know only realized and to be committed in their life, when tragedy or challenges happened right in front of them.Then they start to whine and blame on others and things they have no control over. Don't you think is very energy draining experience?
How does the behavior of commit takes place actually? In my expertise term, we called it mind-to-muscle which a little technical in terms of human psychology. But to give everyone a simple perspective there are 3 Simple indications to observe if you want to develop that commitment in yourself:-
Ritual- In reality, we do not all develop such stuffs daily and many have bad rituals in their life. In some eastern society, they developed a ritual for prayers and meditation and that's for the sake to strengthen their spiritual connection. Unfortunately, it does not goes beyond their daily life on other areas. Would it be shocking on the results that you could achieved if you develop a daily ritual that will create a success in all areas health, financial, career, business and relationship for the next 1 year?
Habits- This is my favorite! Most of what we do unconsciously or consciously are driven from our own habits. Good or bad unaware we developed that over the years. Stephen R. Covey wrote a book about 7 Habits and it has been most widely read for 20 over years and still the best selling book till today. How many of us could develop just even one of all the 7 Habits for our success in life? Remember that our habits are very powerful "tools" that enable us to fall or succeed in all areas of our life's. Start cultivate more habits and you developed a powerful commitment for yourself in your life.
Practice- Do you do it everyday? Simple question right? Some of us may treat it as part of our profession, career and routine work. If you could developed it as a practice for yourself and make it as automated day in and out. Over a period of time, what would you think it'll turn out? The answer is, you developed a "masterful" practice of yourselves. That's the reason, why you see some attorney are just so darn good on his or her ability arguing in court that became part of his DNA or you see some pianist keep on develop it as sense of practice over and over that become part of their life. The point is being commit on developing itself as a "practice" could be very impactful over a period of time in a positive way.
There goes my 3 simple keys or indications that will foretell if you are really committed on what you plan to do as part of your life. Now to be successful, it required hard work too, nothing comes auto-pilot. If you intend to take it to transformational, then is time to commit ourselves towards what we plan to do.
